OzHarvest Canberra - Rescuing Food for Shelters and Refuges in Canberra and Queanbeyan
OzHarvest Canberra collects excess food and delivers it, free of charge, to organisations that feed disadvantaged men, women and children in our community.
OzHarvest is the missing link between the excess food and those in need. We at OzHarvest Canberra believe ‘Good food should not go to waste’
OzHarvest Canberra has been operating since February 2008 and has delivered over 1,000,000 meals to 60 charities and refuges in Canberra, Queanbeyan and Yass. In the process we have saved over 300,000 kilograms of food from being wasted. Our food donors include:
